meme.fun Solana Launch
Launch a Solana token on meme.fun with a creator buy and bundled SOL buys in one Jito bundle, holder cleanup, and starter strategies.
Sumo supports meme.fun launches on Solana. The flow creates the meme.fun token and its bonding curve, adds the dev buy in the same transaction, submits the bundle wallets' exact-in SOL buys in one Jito bundle, and transitions the draft into an active trading profile on the curve.
meme.fun curves never migrate: the bonding curve fills with real SOL liquidity in place and stays the token's only venue.
Prerequisites
Before launching, make sure you have:
- Token metadata ready: name (up to 32 bytes), ticker (up to 10 characters), image, description, and social links
- SOL for the dev buy, bundle buys, transaction fees, Jito tip, and optional holder or injection top-ups
- A launch plan: supply target, dev buy, bundle wallet count, holder count, and optional injection wallets
- A wallet plan: use ready wallets from private keys, Wallet Farm, or another profile, or create new Solana wallets / buy aged Solana wallets through Wallet Marketplace during the wizard
Fixed Token Parameters
meme.fun tokens are Token-2022 mints with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens and 6 decimals, quoted in SOL. The full supply is minted to the curve and the mint authority is revoked at launch. Total supply and decimals are not edited in Sumo.
Launch Flow
1. Info
Choose meme.fun in the Launchpad field, then enter the token and profile details.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Launchpad | Yes | Select meme.fun. The launchpad is locked after the draft is saved. |
| Profile Name | Yes | Internal Sumo profile name used after launch |
| Token Name | Yes | Public token name, up to 32 bytes |
| Ticker | Yes | Token symbol, auto-uppercased, up to 10 characters |
| Image | Yes | JPG or PNG image, up to 2 MB |
| Description | No | Public token description |
| X, Telegram, Website | No | Public social links included with the token metadata |
Saving the draft pins the image and metadata to IPFS. meme.fun only accepts a content-addressed metadata link, so the token records an ipfs:// address; wallets and explorers resolve it through their own IPFS gateways.
2. Buy Mode
meme.fun supports normal bundled launches with SOL buys.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Supply Control Target | Total supply bought by the dev and bundle wallets, up to 90%. |
| Dev Buy | Share of supply the dev wallet buys inside the create transaction. |
| Bundle Buy | Allocation spread across the bundle wallets. |
| Bundle Wallets | Number of bundle buyers, up to 16. Launches with 13 or more bundle wallets prepare a lookup table first. |
| Holder Wallets | Wallets funded through token cleanup after launch. |
| Token Cleanup Method | Off, Token Transfer, or Sell / Buy, exactly as on Pump.fun launches. |
| Injection Wallets | Optional wallets funded for later activity. |
| Funds Per Holder Wallet | SOL top-up delivered through cleanup source wallets. |
| Funds Per Injection Wallet | Optional SOL top-up for injection wallets. |
| CEX Funding | Optional Husher funding path for distributing SOL. |
| Advanced Controls | Slippage, bundle supply jitter, holder supply jitter, and Jito tip. |
Every buy pays meme.fun's trading fee: 1.18% while the curve holds less than 350 SOL of real liquidity (0.98% to the token creator, 0.20% protocol), 0.30% above it. The creator share of every buy, including your own bundle buys, accrues on the curve to the dev wallet, which is recorded as the token's creator for life. Claim it from the profile with Claim creator fees (see Creator Fee Claims).
3. Wallets
Add, import, or generate wallets for each launch role.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Dev Wallet | Creates the token, pays setup costs, performs the dev buy, and earns the creator fee. |
| Bundle Wallets | Execute the bundled meme.fun buys. |
| Holder Wallets | Receive post-launch holder distribution through cleanup. |
| Injection Wallets | Optional wallets funded for later injection activity. |
Sniper wallets are not used: the curve never migrates, so there is no post-migration snipe.
4. Funding
Save the draft before funding. The funding table tracks SOL requirements for dev and bundle buys, transaction fees, account rent, Jito tip, holder cleanup reserves, and optional injection wallets.
If CEX funding is enabled, deposit the estimated SOL into the funding wallet and use Fund to distribute it through Husher. If CEX funding is disabled, fund the launch wallets directly and use Check Balances.
5. Strategies
Optionally add starter strategies to the profile before launch. You can configure Counter Trade, DCA, and Limit Order strategies by hand, or apply a strategy preset. Strategies are saved with the draft and can be reviewed after the token is live.
6. Launch Preview
Review the metadata, wallet counts, SOL funding rows, and supply split. When launched, Sumo builds the bundle, simulates it, then submits the create transaction with the dev buy followed by the bundle wallets' buys. If the bundle does not land, Sumo rebuilds it with a fresh blockhash and resubmits until it confirms or the confirmation window closes; the token can only ever be created once.
After Launch
The launched profile opens in Live Trading on the meme.fun bonding curve. You can monitor trades, activate starter strategies, run token cleanup, and use normal wallet and treasury tooling.
Creator Fee Claims
meme.fun profiles expose Claim creator fees in the profile wallet toolbar, the Live Trading actions menu and the command palette, exactly as Pump.fun profiles do. meme.fun keeps the creator fee on the token's curve as wrapped SOL; the claim collects all of it into the dev wallet and, on profiles that trade with native SOL (the default), unwraps it in the same transaction, so it lands as SOL. A profile set to trade with wrapped SOL keeps the fee as wrapped SOL in the dev wallet. The dev wallet must belong to the profile (archived launch wallets count), because only the token's recorded creator can claim, and it needs a little SOL (about 0.003 SOL) for the network fee and the wrapped-SOL account it opens and closes. The same Sumo platform fee as any creator fee claim applies.
The same action is available in Telegram groups through /fees and /claim. Claims appear in Treasury Logs as Creator Fee Claim entries with the transaction details.
Launch Logs
meme.fun profiles add a Launch Logs tab for bundle simulation, bundle launch, and related launch transactions.
