Sumo charges a **1% platform fee on Sumo-executed trading volume**. Token launches also require a launch fee, paid as **either** a $250 launch ticket **or** 0.25% of token supply as dev allocation.

Deposits, withdrawals, wallet generation, and internal wallet management do not have a Sumo platform fee.

## How It Works

When Sumo executes a buy or sell through a strategy or manual trading action, the platform fee is calculated from the executed trade volume. The fee is tracked and shown in the **Sumo Trade Fees** metric in Insights.

Network gas, DEX fees, aggregator fees, and third-party privacy provider fees are separate from Sumo's platform fee.

| Action | Fee |
| -------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sumo-executed trading volume** | 1% of executed volume |
| **Token launch** | Choose one: **$250 launch ticket** or **0.25% token supply dev allocation** |
| **Deposits** | Free |
| **Withdrawals** | Free |
| **Internal transfers** | Free |
| **Wallet generation** | Free |

## Launch Fees

For each launch, you choose one launch-fee payment method. Sumo does not charge both the launch ticket and dev allocation for the same launch.

| Method | How it Works |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Launch Ticket** | Buy a launch ticket for **$250** in canonical USDC from your Sumo Balance. One ticket covers one launch. |
| **Dev Allocation** | Pay **0.25% of the launched token supply** as a dev-allocation fee. |

Launch tickets are organization-level inventory. You can buy multiple tickets at once from the [Rewards](/account/rewards) page, then apply one ticket to a later launch.

The dev-allocation method is useful when you do not want to prepay in USDC. The ticket method is useful when you want a fixed launch cost before launch execution.

## Example

If Sumo executes **$10,000** of trading volume:

* Platform fee: **$100** (1%)
* Trading, strategy, and fee totals are reflected in Insights and logs

If you launch a token:

* Launch ticket method: **$250** ticket consumed for that launch
* Dev-allocation method: **0.25%** of token supply collected as the launch fee

Only the method selected for that launch is charged.
